The Carlton Hotel in Salt Lake City boasts a fantastic location at a great price. It is conveniently close to Salt Lake City, the Family History Library, Harmon's delightful grocery store, and the city center. Additionally, guests can enjoy a great selection of breakfast items during their stay.

Location: the hotel was very close to shopping malls and food court, a seperate restaurant downstairs, and downtown Salt Lake City. Mykonos, where you can eat good food, was set 5 minutes walk away. The rooms were unique and reasonably large, the staff were superfriendly. It had an exceptionally comfortable bed, central heating, multi-channel television and a fridge.

The quiet atmosphere was also a big plus as we were able to get a good night's sleep without any disturbances. And let's not forget about the delicious and plentiful breakfast that was included in our stay. It was the perfect way to start our day. I had a great experience at Carlton and would highly recommend it.

The only drawback I can think of is that parking is not available for guests. Additionally, the tub/shower had a smooth bottom which made it quite slippery, especially for older individuals.

My stay at the Carlton was made all the more enjoyable by the accommodating and helpful staff. When I arrived, I had a small issue which was promptly resolved by the desk clerk. The room itself was clean and spacious, with updated furnishings. The hotel's location was ideal, allowing me to easily explore the downtown area and visit Temple Square. The friendly desk clerks were also a highlight of my experience.

One final note, however, was that the ice machines were broken during my stay. I hope this is a fixable issue for future guests.
